The student council and some members of ABLE Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Young Artist group had organized a school bazaar on the 2nd of November. The proceeds will be donated for charity.
Halloween
Halloween’s Day was celebrated on the 31st October 2018 with a fun filled exciting fancy dress parade in the PYP. Children came all dressed up in scary costumes. The parents also contributed by decorating the classrooms. It was fun watching little children move around school for ‘trick or treat’. The creativity amongst the children and parents was extraordinary as it gave the judges a tough time deciding the ‘best decorated classroom’ and ‘best costume’.
Annual Festival
The 6th Annual LIS Inter School Festival was held on . This 5 day extravaganza provided a platform to the students to showcase their talents. The theme for this year’s fest was ‘Cultural Heritage Shapes Identities’.
The Chief Guest on the occasion was Ms. Anjali Matta, Coordinator- North India, Trinity College London. Mr. Y.K. Sindwani, Head, Lancers International School inaugurated the event. Mrs Sonia Khan, Representative of Karnataka, Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music ABRSM) graced the occasion with her presence during the closing ceremony .
EY and PYP Sports Day
The Annual Sports day for the PYP was held on 17-18th October 2018. It was a superb chance for the Lancerian family to come together and spend the day filled with lots of fun and excitement.
Annual LIS Soccer and Basketball Cup
The much awaited Annual LIS CUP 2018-19 for Soccer and Basketball this year was held on 8th October 2018. The fantastic turnout from the various schools from Delhi-NCR was a huge boost to the event. The determination and energy from each team added to the excitement in the air. In was indeed a fun week!
University Fair
Lancers International School hosted on campus the CIS fair on 7th October 2018 .The 30 universities that participated at the event were amongst the top ranked universities across the globe. It was a wonderful occasion for the students to interact directly with the admissions team and learn more about scholarships offered.
Week Without Walls
The Week Without Walls (WWW) is experiential education at its prime. It serves the purpose of making the student body more international minded and supports our students on their pursue to become better global citizens – who is aware of the wider world, cares about people and the environment, and takes action to make the world a better place.
Investiture Ceremony
The investiture ceremony is one that rejoices the beauty of young leaders and student government. It is a time when student body inaugurates the term of a fresh set of opportunistic and determined leaders. On the 31st of August Lancers International School set out to do same. Our school hosted the Leadership Summit 2018, where we honored various aspects of leadership. The 2018 summit consisted of a keynote speech by Dr Navneet Sharma, a panel discussion with Lancerian parents who are leaders of today, and the Investiture ceremony where the new student
council was felicitated.
